REVIEW: BRONCHO - Can't Get Past The Lips LP (Fairfax)

BRONCHO manage to play punk music that sounds "pure" and at the same time "not derivative".  Of course all music is, but BRONCHO just doesn't sound that way.  Overall, the sound is angular, but it still takes on different sonic forms...it can be fuzzy, echoey, claustrophobic, punchy... Also, these guys have some very catchy tunes.  This was an extremely satisfying listen...simple, quirky, honest punk music.  Get it here.
